Anticipated Technology Coordinator

The Ridgway Area School District has an anticipated opening for a Technology Coordinator. The position is 220 days; salary based; 180 days of work during the school year and 40 work days during the summer.

This position is primarily responsible for managing day to day activities and asset management; to provide IT support relating to issues with the internal systems and network infrastructure; support services for Microsoft related technologies: Maintain inventory for all network systems and server infrastructures.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: An associate’s degree in MIS/related field. Preferred certifications in CISCO, HP, Microsoft Office, Network and Server Maintenance and ChromeOS.

EXPERIENCE: Must have experience with: HP Storage, HP Servers, Layer 2 switching, diagnostics and troubleshooting, wireless technology, DHCP, AD, DNS, Group Policies, server hardware. Additional skills preferred: interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate with a variety of people with varying technology skills and abilities, organizational skills, knowledge of support tools and the ability to multi-task. Should be familiar with Google Workspace and active directory, Schoology LMS system and educational software, troubleshooting Chromebook issues and have knowledge of .bat files and csv files for import and configuration.
